Belén López's professional career begins at the age of five, when she performed in a tribute to Carmen Amaya before Antonio. Two years later, she won the children's TV contest ‘Bravo Bravissimo’ and danced together with dancer Ángel Corella at the Teatro de Madrid. Next, she represented Spain at the International Tourism Trade Fair Inturfest in St. Petersburg.


At the age of eleven she begins her studies at the Madrid Dance Conservatory, studies which she finishes four years later. She then dances at Madrid's Teatro de la Zarzuela before Queen Sofia. She works for the next four seasons at the Arena in Verona as the lead dancer in the show ‘Carmen’ by Franco Zeffirelli, together with other artists such as Ángel Muñoz. She also took part in the Il Camborio Company as lead dancer and started performing at the Madrilenian tablao El Corral de la Morería as a lead figure.


In May 2004 she wins the Mario Maya Prize of Córdoba's National Contest and one year later El Corral de la Pacheca's Best New Artist Prize. In January 2005 she débuts with her own company at the Teatro Metropol in Tarragona, presenting the show ‘Atrapados por el arte’. She revives the work a year later at the Teatro de Madrid. She also takes part in the Los Novísimos Series at the Festival de Jerez 2006 on February 26th, 2006.
